Echocardiogram (Echo) Services
What is an Echocardiogram?
An echocardiogram is an ultrasound of the heart that uses sound waves to create real-time images of your heart’s chambers, valves, and blood flow.
Why It Matters
- Heart murmurs
- Valve disorders
- Congestive heart failure
- Cardiomyopathy
- Fluid around the heart
Echo is a painless, radiation-free test that typically takes less than an hour and requires no special preparation.
We work closely with your primary care provider or cardiologist to ensure your results are reviewed and integrated into your overall care plan.
Any licensed provider, whether local or from outside the area can submit an order for Echo services at Vista Plains Health. We make it easy to coordinate care across providers and ensure timely access to treatment.
Ask your provider about scheduling an echocardiogram at VPH or call 406-632-4351 for more information.
